Troubleshooting Uploads: Tips for Fast Sharing on Slow Venue Wi-Fi
Try these simple fixes when a photo or video upload is slow, interrupted, or larger than the event allows.
Event memories are easiest to keep when everyone knows what to do. This guide breaks the process into clear steps you can use before, during, or after a celebration.
Check the connection first
Large venues can have crowded Wi-Fi and uneven mobile coverage. Move closer to the access point, switch to a reliable network before starting, and avoid changing networks while a file is uploading.
Send a smaller batch
If several items are selected, try uploading a few at a time. Keep the page open and wait for the completion message before starting the next batch.
Check the file-size limit
Each event has a maximum file size based on its current plan and settings. If a video is too large, choose a shorter clip or ask the host about the available upload limit rather than repeatedly retrying the same file.
